Estate Gift Helps Students—Today and in the Future!

Jeffrey Escobar

Jeffrey Ian Escobar

Jeffrey Ian Escobar is an ambitious and hardworking Pace University student, who is the first generation in his family to attend college. Jeffrey studies in Pace's Lubin School of Business, majoring in the very challenging program of Business Analytics, minoring in an equally competitive program, Computer Science, and working hard to create the American Dream for his family and himself.

Jeffrey is very pleased to study at Pace and feels that the University provides a top notch educational experience. He points out that Pace has created an environment to advance students' professional success and personal satisfaction, and he notes that his professors "go above and beyond in their efforts to groom students" for academic success and fulfilling careers. He also shares pride in his fellow students, who, like Jeffrey, are "driven to succeed in their classes, as well as in their internships and part-time jobs."

One of Jeffrey's scholarships is from the Sahm Endowed Fund, which was established in the Estate of William Sahm '61 and his wife, Beatrice Sahm. Through their own hard work, Bill and Bea established a nest egg and were proud to establish scholarship funds in their estate plan.

Years ago, Bill said, "My own education was only made possible by scholarship. Life has afforded us many opportunities. It's important to give back," and Bea wholeheartedly agreed! They would be thrilled to know that their support is playing a critical role for Jeffrey today and other students in the future.

Jeffrey is so grateful for receiving scholarship funding at Pace that he already plans to support students in the future when he himself has established a successful career!
